DDC Ramban discusses formulation of Distt Capex Budget 2022-23

Ramban :District Development Commissioner, Ramban, Mussarat Islam Thursday convened a meeting of district officers to discuss formulation of District Capex Budget 2022-23.
Additional District Development Commissioner, Rajinder Sharma; CPO Dr. Kasturi Lal; ACP, Swaran Singh; DPO, Executive Engineer Jal Shakri and other officers were present in the meeting.
During the meeting, the DDC reviewed the progress of District Capex Budget 2021-22 and proposals for the next year’s annual Budget.
He stressed upon the departments to formulate the budget as per the approved ceiling conveyed by the Finance department. The plan formulation under Area Development Fund of DDC, BDC and PRI grants was also discussed.
The DDC directed all the officers to ensure the formulation of the plan in consultation withmembers of Panchayati Raj Institutions.He also directed the departments to project only those works/projects which benefit maximum people and could be completed in stipulated time frame as per the guidelines of the Finance department.
Threadbare discussion on key centrally sponsored schemes which are part of the District Development Plan like Area Development Fund, MGNREGA and Jal Jeevan Mission were held in the meeting and necessary directions were passed to the concerned.
