Ramban : Deputy Commissioner, Ramban, Mussarat Islam on Thursday flagged off a group of progressive farmers for exposure tour to Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Bhaderwah (SKUAST-J) to learn about latest agricultural techniques.
The Chief Agriculture Officer, Ashwani Sharma and other concerned officers were also present on the occasion.
While interacting with touring farmers, the DC advised them to engage with full interest in the training sessions to be conducted by the scientists on different topics related to agriculture production.
The DC further said that such events would help the farmers to acquaint themselves with the best Agricultural practices and share experiences with the farmers of other areas.
The DC said for spotting the potential of innovative agriculture farming as a source of employment has grown and the Government is working to encourage farmers to adopt farming as a business option.
