Srinagar: The Directorate of Tourism, Kashmir in collaboration with Nigeen Tourist Traders Association and Nigeen Lake Conservation Association celebrated the World Water Day here at Cherry Park, Nandpora.
On this occasion, speakers underscored the need for preserving plant life to conserve water resources.
Students from nearby schools planted saplings and vowed to protect the environment for posterity.
