Awareness prog on PMEGP, JKREGP held at Hutt Parthal

Reasi|: An Awareness programme regarding Prime Minister Employment Generation Programme (PMEGP) & Jammu & Kashmir Rural Employment Generation Programme (JKREGP) was Saturday held by Khadi & Village Industries Board Reasi at Hutt Parthal, Tehsil Katra to aware general public about the benefits available under the twin schemes.
Amarjeet Singh, District Officer KVIB Reasi informed the participants that under the schemes easy loan facilities are offered to the applicants through recognized financial institutions for self-employment and self-entrepreneurship.
He further informed that the beneficiaries can establish their own ventures in the manufacturing and service sectors under PMEGP & JKREGP. He also sensitized the participants about procedures and various formalities required for registration and uploading of application forms under PMEGP & JKREGP scheme.
