MVD Bla organizes Seminar on Road Safety in Sopore

Baramulla  Motor Vehicles Department (MVD) Baramulla in collaboration with Nether Field School Sopore Thursday organised a daylong seminar on Road Safety in order to educate students with regard to the importance of adhering to traffic rules.
Speaking on the occasion, ARTO Baramulla, Mubashir Jan emphasized on the need for observance of the Road Safety and called upon the students to further disseminate the message of road Safety among their friends and family members. He stressed on the need for cautious driving in-conformity with the Road Safety Norms and motor vehicle rules.
The ARTO further added that students have to play a big role to educate the people about the road safety measures.
On the occasion, students also delivered speeches during which they affirmed that traffic rules must be implemented on their own, not by force or fear.
A Road Safety Club was also constituted to engage members of the local community, groups and public officials who shall impart the detailed training to the people in general for Road safety measures.
Meanwhile, placards were also displayed showing the traffic rules and traffic symbol signs in order to make people aware with regard to road safety.
