NYK B’gam organizes Mega Distt Level Neighborhood Youth Parliament

Budgam : The Nehru Yuva Kendra (NYK) Budgam Wednesday organized a daylong Neighborhood Youth Parliament in the lawns of BHHS Budgam.
Chairman District Development Council (DDC) Budgam, Nazir Ahmad Khan graced the occasion as Chief Guest.
Among others, ADDC Budgam, AD Employment, Resources persons from Different Departments of District Budgam and a large number of Students also participated in the programme.
The aim and objective of the program was to develop leadership qualities among youth to enable them to realize their full potential and to contribute to the nation building process besides sensitizing the students about the various welfare schemes presently in vogue by the different departments.
Speaking on the occasion, the DDC Chairman said that the youth should be abreast of various socio-economic issues of the society and make administration aware about it so that the concerned department shall proactively work on such issues for the larger interest of society.
The programme was also addressed by ADDC Budgam, AD Employment, and many other resource persons from different departments.
