Ganderbal, : The Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Ganderbal, Farooq Ahmad Baba Tuesday launched Chinar plantation drive by planting Chinar sapling within the premises of Mini Secretariat, here.
It was informed that the Department would distribute over 800 Chinar saplings among different schools, Government institutions, NGOs free of cost to help improve green cover in the district.
Assistant District Floriculture Officer and officials of Floriculture department were present on the occasion.
