Kupwara: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kupwara, Imam Din Monday kick-started a Bee keeping training course, at Town Hall here in a function organized by KrishiVegyan Kendra (KVK) Kupwara.
Speaking at the occasion, the DC impressed upon the trainee participants to take maximum benefit of the training course and expert guidance to boost their Bee keeping skills. He directed them to adopt the Bee-keeping on profession lines and become agriculture entrepreneurs to generate self-employment opportunities for themselves and others as well.
It was informed that the batch consisting of 25 female students will be given training for Beekeeping which will last for 7 days.
Other officers from KVK also spoke and gave awareness to the participants about the training course.
Chief Agriculture Officer Kupwara, KVK Head and DAO, besides, KVK scientists and trainees attended the function.
