DDC Doda reviews progress of JKPCC, PMDP, JTFRP projects

Emphasis laid completion of Indoor Stadium by March end, timeline completion of all other ongoing works

Doda : District Development Commissioner Doda, Vikas Sharma Friday chaired a meeting of key officials of JKPCC, ERA, BDA and reviewed the progress of various works under their implementation pertaining to different departments, institutions.
The DDC enquired about the updated status of ongoing works being executed by these agencies, expenditure incurred against each work. He also took stock of the issues hampering some projects.
While reviewing the progress of Chirala to Bhaderwah road being executed by ERA, the representative of the department informed that the work was on at the both locations as all the issues have been sorted out and there was no shortage of material and assured that the project would be completed within the fixed timeline.The DDC also instructed JKPCC to complete Dadkai road on urgent basis.
Further, the DDC directed the officials of ERA to commission the completed 500 LPM Oxygen Generation Project at Gandoh in the presence of the SDM and BMO concerned within the next two days positively.
While assessing the progress of CHC building Gandoh being constructed under Prime Minister’s Development Package, the DDC directed the planning section to request the JK Housing Board to share the physical and financial status of the project. The CMO was asked to share the submitted proposal for the proper functioning of the institution to the planning section so that the same shall be sent to the administrative department as a reminder.
Moreover, the DDC directed the CMO to share the sanctioned staff strength and staff in position with the DC office so that the matter shall be taken up with the concerned authorities. He further asked the CMO to ensure that no illegal construction be allowed within the limits of the health institution.
The DDC, while reviewing the status of un-executed work of SDH Bhaderwah for staff quarters, was apprised that revised estimates have been submitted to the concerned. The DC directed the DGM JKPCC to submit the factual report in this regard. He took strong cognizance over the slow progress on Indoor Stadium Doda and sought response from the DGM for the tardy progress. He also directed to submit the progress report within next ten days regarding the pending truss work, in addition to this he asked the concerned to complete the project by the end of March without any further delay.
Regarding ongoing construction of the polytechnic college building, the DGM said that the slab on the Administrative block would be laid down by 15th March; The DDC directed the concerned to submit the proposal for staff quarters and hostels in advance to the Administrative department.
With regard to the Water Sports Centre, the DDC constituted a Committee comprising ADDC, CEO BDA, SDM Thathri to enquire whether the infrastructure created have been put into proper use. The Committee shall also determine the nature of work executed by the BDA and present status of each work. The Committee will also submit a proposal suggesting the optimum utilization of the created infrastructure. He further asked the committee to submit the report within the next 15 days positively.
The DDC also reviewed the status of Girls hostel at GDC Bhaderwah, GDC Kilhotran, PHC Barath, Mini Secretariat Doda, Administrative Secretariat Bhaderwah and asked the concerned to resolve the issues hampering the work. He asked the executing agencies to ensure that actual data and figures are submitted so that proper review of the projects shall be conducted and the issues impending the works were resolved accordingly.
The meeting was attended by ADDC Doda, CPO Doda, CEO BDA, Principal GDC Bhaderwah, CMO Doda, DGM JKPCC, and representatives from ERA and PDD.
