Srinagar Pulwama| : As a part of public outreach programme, Police facilitated Police Community Partnership Group (PCPG) meetings in Srinagar &Pulwama. In Srinagar, the meeting was held at Police Station Harwan and was chaired by SDPO Nehrupark.
According to a police statement, the meeting was attended by DDC, BDC members, Sarpanches, Panchs, social activists & respectable citizens of the Harwan area. Similarly in Pulwama, PCPG meeting was held at Police Station Kakapora and was chaired by Dy SP Ops Kakapora along with SHO PS Kakapora. The meeting was attended by respectable citizens of Kandizal, Kadlabal, Khadermoh, Marvel and Sethergund villages of Kakapora Pulwama.
During these meetings, the participants raised various issues pertaining to Police and civil authorities. The chairing officers assured them that their genuine grievances pertaining to Police will be resolved on priority while as the issues pertaining to civil administration will be taken up with concerned authorities for their early redressal.
The participants were also requested to co-operate with Police in maintaining law & order and in identifying anti-national & anti-social elements in the area. The participants in these meetings assured their full co-operation to Police in tackling social evils and also appreciated the efforts of Police in facilitating community interaction meets where participants express their opinions freely.
