Doda : A Symposium and Essay writing was organised on the life history and philosophy of Mahatma Gandhi under Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav at Govt. High School Pranoo (Doda), here on Thursday.
The event was held in compliance with the cultural calendar circulated by the Directorate of School Education Jammu.
The program was attended by students and staff of the school. A total 6 students participated in the program. Shewata Bhagat of class 9th bagged first position in symposium and Mohammad Junaid of class 10th emerged first in essay writing competition.
These students threw light on the life and the philosophy of Mahatma Gandhi (Father of nation) and his contribution and impact on the society in the present era.
The program was held under the guidance and overall supervision of ZEO Doda Ramesh Babu and was coordinated by Umesh Kumar (Teacher) and assisted by other staff members of the school.
