CJM Ramban invites people to settle their pending cases in National Lok Adalat on March 12

Ramban : As directed by National Legal Services Authority and J&K, District Legal Service Authority (DLSA) Ramban, under the supervision of the Chairman DLSA (Principal and district Session Judge), , Haq Nawaz Zargar, is going to organize a National Lok Adalat on March 12 with due adherence to Covid appropriate behaviour.
While speaking to the media persons at a press conference, here Thursday, the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Sub-Judge, Ramban, Anjum Ara said Pre-Lok Adalat sessions are being conducted smoothly in the District Court Complex Ramban. She said that the aim of the Lok Adalats is to reduce the pendency of disputes at pre- litigation and post- litigation stages.
While urging the people, especially residing in far flung areas to register their pending Post litigations and Pre-litigations cases for settlement of the same in the National Lok Adalat, the CJM said that DLSA Ramban is focusing on to provide speedy justice to people, especially those from inaccessible and far flung areas of the district. She appealed all stakeholders to sensitize the people about the benefit of National Lok Adalat.
The CJM also informed that the National Lok Adalat will be held in the Court Complex Ramban besides other courts of the district on March 12 to hear and settle pre- litigation and post- litigation to reduce the pendency in the courts.
“The Chairman, District Legal Services Authority Ramban, Principal and District Sessions Judge Ramban has exhorted all the litigants to settle his/her dispute/Case in the proposed National Lok Adalat amicably through conciliation and mediation for which he/she shall approach to the concerned Court and get fixed his/her case in the National Lok Adalat” she said.
Except serious crime cases, all other cases including Criminal Compoundable Offences; NI Act cases under Section 138; Money Recovery cases; MACT cases; Labour disputes cases; Electricity and Water Bills, Matrimonial disputes , Revenue cases, Other civil cases will be heard in the National Lok Adalat etc.
