3 absconders evading their arrests since 2 years, 9 years and 7 years arrested at Channi Himmat : Police

Jammu: Police on Thursday said that three absconders evading their arrests since 2 years, 9 years and 7 years were on arrested in Channi Himat area of Jammu city.
In a statement issued on Thursday police said that an information was received through reliable sources at PS Channi Himmat regarding three absconders who were evading their arrests since 2 years, 9 years and 7 years, stating therein further that the details of Absconders are Vijay Kumar S/o Nagar Mal R/o RS Pura Jammu evading his arrest from past two years in case FIR No 1/2013 u/s 4/25 AAct of PS Channi Himmat Jammu , Parvez Ahmed S/o Ab Rashid R/o Malipath evading arrest since 11.09.2013, i.e, 9 years in case FIR No 171/2009 U/S 457/380 RPC and Babu Ram S/O Ram Lal R/O Udaywala Jammu evading his arrest since 21.04.2015, i.e, 7 years in case FIR No 40/2022 U/S 279/304-A IPC.
Stating further that special police teams of PS Channi Himmat under the supervision of SDPO East Syed Zaheer Abbas Jafari were constituted and the team led by SHO PS Channi Himmat Inspr Deepak Katoch after strenuous efforts finally arrested all the three accused. “It is pertinent to mention that a warrant u/s 512 CrPC was issued against the absconder namely Vijay Kumar by 1st Additional Munsiff Judicial Magistrate 1st class Jammu”, reads the above quoted police statement, adding that “a warrant u/s 512 CrPC was issued against the absconder namely Parvez Ahmed by Hon’ble court of Spl.M Mobile Court Jammu and another warrant u/s 512 CrPC was issued against absconder namely Babu Ram by the Court of Sub Judge Electricity Court Jammu”.
