DDC Rajouri interacts with coal mine workers at Metka

Rajouri : District Development Commissioner Rajouri, Vikas Kundal Wednesday visited to a coal mine at Metka and interacted with the coal mine workers there and listened to their grievances. The workers raised several issues including low wages etc.
He asked the ADC Kalakote to take effective measures to ensure that all the genuine concerns of the workers are redressed at the earliest.
The DDC also held a threadbare discussion with the locals about the measures which can be taken to enhance coal production in the area and to generate more employment avenues for them.
Meanwhile, he also inspected a number of developmental works of the RDD sector being executed in Kalakote subdivision.
The DDC said the District Administration Rajouri is making every effort to ensure that the work on the vital projects is completed within the set deadlines to provide necessary benefits to the common masses.
He asked the concerned officers to put in place added efforts to meet the developmental aspirations of the general public and ensure that all the developmental works are completed within the already fixed timelines.
The DDC also asked them to strictly adhere to the quality parameters while executing work on the developmental projects.
