Inte’l Women’s Day : EPFO’s J&K regional offices accord priority to claims of Female employees

Jammu  : This International Women’s Day, 2022, Regional Office Employees’ Provident Fund Organization (EPFO), Jammu and Regional Office, Kashmir has accorded priority to all clai related to women employees. Women Help Desk was set up at EPFO Jammu to facilitate women employees in getting the claims submitted online and for other activities.
The office takes this occasion/ opportunity to highlight some of its women centric initiatives undertaken towards facilitating women members:
Special emphasis has been laid on settlement of such death clai where women are claimants. Accordingly, multiple such clai have been processed and benefits provided to women beneficiaries. This includes beneficiaries of Insurance claim viz. Manu Vasudeva, who was provided assistance with an insurance amount of Rs. 5,47,942,Reeta Yadav with an insurance amount of Rs. 2.5 Lakh. Insurance, Pension and PF claim was also settled in F/O Pinki Devi.
The PF claims were also approved in favour of Saroj Bala with an amount of Rs. 1,07,462,Shakti Devi with an amount of Rs. 1,30,854, Anuradha Joshi with an amount of Rs. 1,69,708, Sooma Devi with an amount of Rs. 10,60,840/- and Babli Devi.
E-Nomination: Special drive is underway to get the e-Nomination of all the female members filed. All the establishments having female employees have been advised to get their e-Nomination filed at the earliest. Alongside, establishments are also being regularly being appealed through regular webinars and seminars. By the result of such initiatives the Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh zone has been able to achieve second position at an All India Level in filing of e-Nomination in terms of percentage of nominations done.
As many as 11,416 women employees have filed their E-nomination successfully in J&K and Ladakh.
Women Day Celebration functions were held in RO Jammu, RO Kashmir and DO Ladakh. The Women employees preferred coconut water over other beverages to give a positive message to society. A team of six women employees did a commendable job in EPFO, Jammu. They were seen in action responding to the queries of stakeholders at PRO and in chamber of Commissioner, Rizwan Uddin.
Their relentless dedication towards handling the public/visitors gathering in relatively a large number at RO, Jammu was appreciated by P F Commissioner Rizwan Uddin.
The women’s team in RO Jammu comprises Mini Tamilselvam, Kanchan, Archana, BhanuPriya and Shilpi Sharma. Shilpi Sharma prepared charts, specially for women’s day at RO, Jammu. Kanchana and Rehanadecorated DO, Ladakh and a card on women’s day was also prepared by Rehana, DEO at Ladakh. Ladakh office was decorated by Kanchana and Rehana by theelves. Afroza, the only women DEO in RO, Kashmir was specially greeted by P F Commissioner, Rizwan Uddin and her contributions a facilitation center, RO, Kashmir got acknowledged by him.
