DC Reasi reviews implementation of Tribal Sub Plan

Reasi  : District Development Commissioner Reasi, Babila Rakwal Saturday reviewed the physical and financial progress achieved under Tribal Sub Plan in the district.
The DDCreviewed the progress on plan works like providing of Pathways, construction of protection Walls/Lanes and drains in Tribal areas, Establishment of E-Classrooms in Primary School Building at Baudkhey Dadura, Development of Rural Infrastructure in Tribal areas, support to Tribal Research Institute, Establishment of CTMV viz Kanskasan, Budhan, Thuroo, Kanthi, Establishment of 3 E-Classrooms/ Smart Classrooms, Creation of Sub Power Stations, provision of power supply to Tribal Areas, Purchase of furniture and furnishing for ST/G&B Boys Hostel Reasi , Providing of Handumps, Establishment of sixty mini Sheep/Goat farms to develop Model Tribal Cluster Villages and implementation of beneficiary oriented schemes.
Issues pertaining to bottlenecks hampering execution of works and delay in the submission of the DPR were also discussed in detail.
Babila Rakwal stressed on adhering to guidelines of Tribal department, while preparing the DPR for model Cluster Village.
The DDC also stressed on judicious use of funds under Tribal Plan. She asked for incorporating all three components, viz 40% from Govt. of India as a Centre share, 30% from Tribal Department as a State share and 30% as departmental share.
Babila Rakwal also asked the executing agency to expedite the work and ensure that the project is completed within the set deadlines so that necessary benefits are provided to the tribal students with the completion of this ambitious project.
The DDC also directed for adhering to the quality parameters while executing the work on the project.
CPO Sunita Kanchan; ACD Anirudh Rai; CMO Dr Rajeev Sharma, CEO Mohammad Aziz, CHO Brij Vallabh besides other district officers were present in the meeting.
