Covid-19 In JK: 1 death reported in last 24 hours , toll rises to 4749

Srinagar, Jammu: The Jammu & Kashmir Government on Friday said that 33 new positive cases of novel Corona virus (COVID-19), 15 from Jammu division and 18 from Kashmir division, have been reported in last 24 hours, thus taking the total number of positive cases in Jammu and Kashmir to 453167, stating therein further that 1 new covid death reported from Jammu division mounted J&K’s overall covid death toll to 4749 in Jammu & Kashmir.
The Government in it’s daily covid bulletin also said that moreover, 83 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and been discharged from various hospitals including 60from Jammu Division and23 from Kashmir Division, stating therein further that no new case of Mucormycosis has been reported Friday, thus the total number of confirmed casesremains51 across J&K.
On COVID vaccination, the bulletin informs that 15,629doses of COVID vaccine have been administered in the last 24 hours bringing the cumulative number of doses administered across J&K to2,15,64,224.
According to the daily Media Bulletin on novel Corona virus (Covid-19), out of 453167 positive cases, 412are Active Positive (218in Jammu Division and 194in Kashmir Division), 448006 have recovered and 4749 have died; 2326 in Jammu division and 2423in Kashmir division.
The Bulletin further said that out of 23448611 test results available, 453167 samples have tested positive and 22995444 samples have been tested as negative till date. Besides, 45,854 COVID tests have been conducted in last 24 hours.
Till date 6159017 persons have been enlisted for observation which included 32856 persons in home quarantine including facilities operated by government, 412 in isolation and 451419 in home surveillance. Besides, 5669581 persons have completed their surveillance period.
Providing district-wise breakup for positive cases reported Friday, the Bulletin said that Srinagar reported 09 cases, Baramulla reported 04 cases, Pulwama reported 02 cases, Kupwara reported 02 cases, Bandipora reported 01case while as Budgam, Anantnag, Ganderbal, Kulgam and Shopian reported no fresh cases for Friday.
Similarly, Jammu reported 12 cases, Doda reported 02 cases, Kishtwar reported 01case while as while as Udhampur, Rajouri, Kathua, Samba, Poonch, Ramban and Reasi reported no fresh cases for Friday.
Moreover, the bulletin also highlights that against the availability of 4838 dedicated level 1 & level 2 COVID beds, only 12(0.25%) are occupied. The bulletin informs that in case of any help, the general public can call J&K Centralised Health Helpline- Toll Free No. 104.In case of emergency, people can avail free ambulance services 24×7 by calling toll free number 108 while as pregnant women and sick infants can avail free services by dialling toll free number 102, the bulletin reads.
It also informs that the public can reach national helpline by dialling 1075.
Further the bulletin also informs the public that for any kind of COVID-19 query, logon to www.covidrelief.jk.gov.in.
