Jammu DDC Chairman reviews progress of works under B2V3, Distric Capex, DDC, BDC, PRI components

Jammu : District Development Council (DDC), Chairman Bharat Bhushan on Thursday reviewed the progress of works proposed under B2V3 and District Capex Budget including DDC, BDC, PRI components, here in presence of DDC Vice Chairman Suraj Singh.
The Deputy Commissioner AnshulGarg apprised the Chair about the progress being made so far through a power point presentation.
He informed that against total 485 works under Back to Village-lll 452 works are approved under RDD.
He further informed that 186 have been completed and 83 are under execution and would be completed in current financial year. He also informed that 451 works have been tendered and 306 have been allotted out of which 269 have been started.
The Deputy Commissioner appraised that total 2855 works have been approved under the District Capex Budget 2021-22, of which 134 are under DDC plan, 164 under BDC plan and 2557 under PRI plan.
He informed that out of 2557 works under PRI components, 2401 have been tendered, 1629 allotted, 1007 are under execution and 638 have been completed.
Under DDC component, out of 134 works 126 have been tendered, 83 allotted, 57 under execution and 42 have been completed.
Similarly, under BDC component, out 164 works 154 have been tendered, 129 allotted, 82 under execution and 46 have been completed.
Speaking on the occasion, the DDC Chairman stressed on the concerned authorities to take all possible measures to accelerate the pace of various ongoing works on different projects for their time-bound completion.
He asked the officers to focus on allotting the works following their execution and completion without any delay.
Along with others, DDC Members, senior officers and other staff members of concerned departments were present in the meeting.
