Covid-19 In JK: No death reported in last 24 hours , toll stays at 4748

Srinagar, Jammu: The Jammu & Kashmir Government in it’s daily covid bulletin on Saturday said that 84 new positive cases of novel Coronavirus (COVID-19), 63 from Jammu division and 21 from Kashmir division, have been reported Saturday, thus taking the total number of positive cases in Jammu and Kashmir to 452901, stating therein further that no fresh covid death was reported from anywhere till late Saturday evening and J&K’s overall covid death toll stayed at 4748.
Government in it’s covid bulletin also said that moreover, 208 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and been discharged from various hospitals including 158 from Jammu Division and 50 from Kashmir Division, stating therein further that no new case of Mucormycosis has been reported Saturday, thus the total number of confirmed cases remains 51 across J&K. On COVID vaccination, the bulletin informs that 18,986 doses of COVID vaccine have been administered in the last 24 hours bringing the cumulative number of doses administered across J&K to 2,14,86,303.
According to the daily Media Bulletin on novel Corona virus (Covid-19), out of 452901 positive cases, 871 are Active Positive (491 in Jammu Division and 380 in Kashmir Division), 447282 have recovered and 4748 have died; 2325 in Jammu division and 2423 in Kashmir division.
The Bulletin further said that out of 23173681 test results available, 452901 samples have tested positive and 22720780 samples have been tested as negative till date. Besides, 50023 COVID tests have been conducted in the last 24 hours.
Till date 6104772 persons have been enlisted for observation which included 31462 persons in home quarantine including facilities operated by government, 871 in isolation and 452560 in home surveillance. Besides, 5615131 persons have completed their surveillance period.
Providing district-wise breakup for positive cases reported Saturday, the Bulletin said that Srinagar reported 12 cases, Baramulla reported 01 cases, Budgam reported 04 cases, Pulwama, Ganderbal, Kulgam, Anantnag and Shopian reported no new fresh case. While as Kupwara and Bandipora reported 03 and 01 case respectively.
Similarly, Jammu reported 30 cases, while as Udhampur reported 06 new cases, Rajouri reported one fresh case, Doda reported 15 cases, Kathua reported 03 cases, Ramban reported 02 new cases, Kishtwar reported 06 new cases, while as Samba, Poonchand Reasi reported no fresh case.
Moreover, the bulletin also highlights that against the availability of 4838 dedicated level 1 & level 2 COVID beds, only 32 (0.66%) are occupied.
The bulletin informs that in case of any help, the general public can call J&K Centralised Health Helpline- Toll Free No. 104.In case of emergency, people can avail free ambulance services 24×7 by calling toll free number 108 while as pregnant women and sick infants can avail free services by dialling toll free number 102, the bulletin reads.
It also informs that the public can reach national helpline by dialling 1075.
