Covid-19 In JK: No death reported in last 24 hours , toll stays at 4748

Srinagar, Jammu : Jammu & Kashmir Government in it’s daily covid bulletin on Friday said that 75 new positive cases of novel Coronavirus (COVID-19), 65 from Jammu division and 30 from Kashmir division, have been reported Friday, thus taking the total number of positive cases in Jammu and Kashmir to 452817, stating therein further with no report of any fresh covid from anywhere in Jammu & Kashmir the overall covid death toll stayed at 4748 in Jammu & Kashmir.
Government in it’s covid bulletin further said that moreover, 187 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and been discharged from various hospitals including 126 from Jammu Division and 61 from Kashmir Division, stating therein further that no new case of Mucormycosis has been reported Friday, thus the total number of confirmed cases remains 51 across J&K. On COVID vaccination, the bulletin informs that 17,633 doses of COVID vaccine have been administered in the last 24 hours bringing the cumulative number of doses administered across J&K to 2,14,67,440.
According to the daily Media Bulletin on novel Corona virus (Covid-19), out of 452817 positive cases, 995 are Active Positive (586 in Jammu Division and 409 in Kashmir Division), 447074 have recovered and 4748 have died; 2325 in Jammu division and 2423 in Kashmir division.
The Bulletin further said that out of 23123658 test results available, 452817 samples have tested positive and 22670841 samples have been tested as negative till date. Besides, 56371 COVID tests have been conducted in the last 24 hours.
Till date 6098671 persons have been enlisted for observation which included 33365 persons in home quarantine including facilities operated by government, 995 in isolation and 449560 in home surveillance. Besides, 5610003 persons have completed their surveillance period.
Providing district-wise breakup for positive cases reported Friday, the Bulletin said that Srinagar reported 18 cases, Baramulla reported 03 cases, Budgam reported 03 cases, Pulwama, Ganderbal and Shopian reported no new fresh cases. While as Kupwara reported 03 cases, Kulgam reported one fresh case, Anantnag and Bandipora each reported one new cases.
Similarly, Jammu reported 27 cases, while as Udhampur, Kishtwar and Reasi reported no fresh case, Doda reported 20 cases, Kathua reported 05 cases, Ramban reported 05 new cases, Samba reported five new cases, and Poonch reported one fresh case.
Moreover, the bulletin also highlights that against the availability of 4838 dedicated level 1 & level 2 COVID beds, only 36 (0.74%) are occupied.
The bulletin informs that in case of any help, the general public can call J&K Centralised Health Helpline- Toll Free No. 104.In case of emergency, people can avail free ambulance services 24×7 by calling toll free number 108 while as pregnant women and sick infants can avail free services by dialling toll free number 102, the bulletin reads.
It also informs that the public can reach national helpline by dialling 1075.
