Baramulla : As a public outreach programme, Police Community Partnership Group (PCPG) meeting was facilitated by Baramulla Police in Village VailooKralpora. The meeting was held while following social distancing norms and other protocols.
According to a police statement issued on Tuesday police said that the meeting was chaired by SDPO Pattan Mohammad Nawaz. Besides, SHO PS Pattan and other officers of the subdivision were also present on the occasion. The meeting was attended by respectable citizens of the area including members of Auqaf Committees, Numberdars, Chowkidars, Traders Federation and Fruit Associations.
During the meeting, participants raised various issues of public importance including drug menace etc. The chairing officer assured the participants that their genuine grievances pertaining to Police will be resolved on priority and the issues pertaining to civil administration will be taken up with concerned authorities for their early redressal. The chairing officer also sought their cooperation in maintaining peace & stability in the area besides, identifying anti-national & anti-social elements.
The participants in the meeting assured their full co-operation to Police in tackling social evils and also appreciated the efforts of Police in facilitating community interaction meets where participants express their opinions freely.
