DDC Kupwara chairs DLRCC meeting for 3rd quarter of 2021-22

Kupwara : The District Development Commissioner (DDC) Kupwara, Imam Din Saturday convened a meeting of the District Level Review cum Consultative Committee (DLRCC) to review the performance for the 3rd quarter of the current financial year.
The meeting was attended by representatives of banks and line Departments of the district.
While highlighting the overall performance for 3rd quarter under Annual District Credit Plan (ADCP), Lead District Manager, Kupwara, Mehboob Ellahi Khan informed the meeting that under ADCP 2021-22 the district stood at Rs.1014.46 Crores as on 31 December, 2021 which constitutes 64percent against target of Rs.1582.16 Crores.
The achievements under priority sector advances were to the tune of Rs.550.03 Crores against target of Rs.1376.63 for 3rd quarter 2021-22 which constitutes 40 percent while as under non-priority sector the achievements are to the tune of Rs.464.43 Crores against target of Rs.205 Crores which constitutes 226 percent.
It was informed in the meeting that the deposits of the banks in the District were to the tune of Rs.2915 Crores as on 31 December, 2021 compared to Rs.2822 Crores as on 31December, 2020 thereby registering an increase of Rs.93 Crores constituting 4 percent. The advances of the banks stood at Rs.3399 Crores as on 31 December, 2021 against Rs.2995 Crores as on 31December, 2020 thereby registering an increase of Rs.404 Crores which works out to 12 percent. The CD ratio of the District as on 31December, 2021 stood at 117 percent. Rs.654.07 crore has been disbursed by the banks amongst 34631 beneficiaries under PM Mudra Yojana Scheme with credit disbursement.
It was also informed that the District has already sanctioned 3240 cases under various govt sponsored schemes and disbursed Rs.93.58Crore.
Under the new KCC scheme for Animal husbandry, Sheep and Fisheries, the banks have sanctioned 11120 cases and have disbursed Rs.64.23 Crores to the beneficiaries. Chairman instructed all banks for earlier disposal of all cases on priority and also instructed line departments to sponsor cases properly and submit the cases to respective branches as per service area on weekly basis, bulk sponsorship should be avoided.
The DDC directed all the financial institutions and government departments to implement this plan in true letter and spirit and ensure 100 percent achievements in social security schemes so that our collective efforts help us to come up to the expectations of the masses.
The DDC directed all the banks and the sponsoring agencies to work with cooperation, coordination, and cohesion to achieve the goals and targets of development and progress besides generation of employment for unemployed youth of the district.
He also directed them to conduct awareness programmes at village/block levels to generate proper awareness about the schemes among the people. Further chairman instructed all banks to reach out the unbanked adults, farmers to bring them under financial inclusion, besides involving them in agriculture and allied activities by providing hassle free credit to all eligible farmers.
