Kupwara : The Deputy Commissioner Kupwara, Imam Din Friday visited block Kalaroose to take stock of various ongoing developmental works.
DDC Member Kalaroos, Ghulam Mustafa and officers accompanied the Deputy Commissioner.
During the visit, the Deputy Commissioner inspected the land to be demarcated for construction of Boarding cum Residential School (BRS) for children of ST community which is being sponsored by Youth Services & Sports Department. He directed all the concerned officers to work in close coordination and sought out any modality involved for demarcation of the land for construction of the Boarding school.
He directed Tehsildar Kupwara for proper demarcation of land for construction of the school as per Government guidelines which will benefit the tribal community of the district in large. Later, the Deputy Commissioner took stock of the ongoing developmental works in the area.
