Covid-19 In JK: No death reported in last 24 hours , toll stays at 4745

Srinagar, Jammu: The Government in it’s daily covid bulletin on Wednesday said that 230 new positive cases of novel Corona virus (COVID-19), 126 from Jammu division and 104 from Kashmir division, have been reported Wednesday, thus taking the total number of positive cases in Jammu and Kashmir to 451560, Stating therein further that no fresh covid death was reported till Wednesday evening and consequently the J&K’s overall covid death toll stayed at 4745.
Government in it’s bulletin also said that moreover, 827 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and been discharged from various hospitals including 356 from Jammu Division and 471 from Kashmir Division, stating therein furthermore that no new case of Mucormycosis has been reported Wednesday, thus the total number of confirmed casesremains51 across J&K.
On COVID vaccination, the bulletin informs that 28,846 doses of COVID vaccine have been administered in the last 24 hours bringing the cumulative number of doses administered across J&K to 2,12,28,495.
According to the daily Media Bulletin on novel Corona virus (Covid-19), out of 451560 positive cases, 3683 are Active Positive (1621 in Jammu Division and 2062 in Kashmir Division), 443132 have recovered and 4745 have died; 2323 in Jammu division and 2422 in Kashmir division.
The Bulletin further said that out of 22546263 test results available, 451560 samples have tested positive and 22094703 samples have been tested as negative till date. Besides, 70660 COVID tests have been conducted in last 24 hours.
Till date 6004757 persons have been enlisted for observation which included 31703 persons in home quarantine including facilities operated by government, 3683 in isolation and 443602 in home surveillance. Besides, 5521024 persons have completed their surveillance period.
Providing district-wise breakup for positive cases reported Wednesday, the Bulletin said that Srinagar reported 50 cases, Baramulla reported 08 cases, Budgam reported 14 cases, Pulwama reported 03 cases, Kupwara reported 18 cases, Anantnag reported 3 cases, Bandipora reported 05 case, Ganderbal reported 02 cases, Kulgam reported no cases while as Shopian reported one fresh cases for Wednesday.
Similarly, Jammu reported 54 cases, Reasi reported no new case for Wednesday, Udhampur reported 08 cases, Rajouri reported 03 cases, Doda reported 39 cases, Kathua reported 03 cases, Samba reported no new case, Poonch reported 09 cases, Kishtwar reported one case while as Ramban reported 09 fresh cases for Wednesday.
Moreover, the bulletin also highlights that against the availability of 5038 dedicated level 1 & level 2 COVID beds, only 107 (2.12%) are occupied.
The bulletin informs that in case of any help, the general public can call J&K Centralised Health Helpline- Toll Free No. 104.In case of emergency, people can avail free ambulance services 24×7 by calling toll free number 108 while as pregnant women and sick infants can avail free services by dialling toll free number 102, the bulletin reads.
It also informs that the public can reach national helpline by dialling 1075.
