DC Udhampur reviews implementation of Ayushman Bharat Sehat Scheme

Udhampur  : To review the progress of registration of beneficiaries and generation of golden cards under Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana –Sehat scheme, Deputy Commissioner, Udhampur Indu Kanwal Chib convened a meeting of officers and field functionaries of Health Department at Conference Hall DC Office Complex Udhampur, here Tuesday.
Detailed deliberations were held on various aspects which include progress under Ayushman Bharat scheme, beneficiaries registered and golden cards generated, beneficiary identification system, IEC activities, Bottlenecks in implementation of Sehat scheme etc.
At the outset, Dr. K.C Dogra, Chief Medical Officer, Udhampr gave a detailed Power Point Presentation about Physical achievements of AB-PMJAY Sehat scheme in the district.
The DC reviewed zone wise progress of registration and issuance of Sehat cards and generation of Golden cards. She stressed on fast tracking the registration and directed the health department to start IEC activities on mission mode to generate mass awareness to attract the public for registration. She enquired about the targets & Achievements from Block Medical Officers asked them to put in extra efforts.
The DC also asked the department to seek cooperation of BDCs, DDCs, PRIs and the general public to motivate people regarding registration of Sehat scheme.
Among others, the meeting was attended by Medical Superintendent DH, Dr Vijay Raina; DHO, Dr Mohd Yaseen, all Block Medical Officers, besides District CSC Manager and representatives from Insurance Company .
