Rajouri : District Development Commissioner Rajouri, Vikas Kundal Tuesday visited Skill Development Centre for specially abled persons and interacted with the trainees there.
DSEO, Bilal Rashid Mir; Director Skill Development Centre, Mohd Ashraf and other concerned officers accompanied the DDC during his visit.
Taking stock of the training courses being run in the centre, the DDC was informed that presently 120 specially abled persons are being trained in two trades including LED Light repair technician of 440 hour duration and Domestic Data entry operator of 400 hour duration.
While interacting with the trainees, the DDC said that the skill development centre gives persons with disabilities the right kind of atmosphere to develop their talent so that they become self-reliant. .
The DDC also urged the trainees to learn the training skills with dedication to become self-reliant and live a dignified life in the society.
