DC Reasi listens to Grievances of Employees

Reasi  : To address and ensure expeditious disposal of their issues, Deputy Commissioner Reasi Charandeep Singh Monday listened to the grievances of the employees of District Reasi.
The Deputy Commissioner met with the individual employees and representatives of the Employees’ Associations and assured them that all the genuine grievances will be resolved at an earliest and the matters requiring policy decisions at Government level would be taken at the appropriate forum.
The Deputy Commissioner also directed the District officers to organise similar meetings at their own level as the same would enhance the performance of employees and create a good and harmonious working environment. He said the move has been taken to avoid situations where the employees resort to protests for even small issues. “This initiative will give a platform to the employees to raise their issues and resolve the same at the District level or approach the government in case of any direction coming from the higher authorities.
Five deputations/employees met with the Deputy Commissioner in one hour time period and some grievances related to service book, release of arrears were resolved on the spot. The employees seeking transfer were assured that the same shall be considered as per the transfer policy.
