Srinagar : In continuation to the programmes organised under ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ initiative of GoI, the Cultural Unit Srinagar of Department of Information and Public Relations (DIPR) Friday organised a colourful musical event and skit at Auditorium Hall of DIPR, here.
Ghulam Mohammad Bhat Music Composer and Ghulam Mohideen Khanday of Cultural Unit Srinagar assisted by other artists enthralled the audience with popular Kashmiri songs.
Another young folk singer, Feroz Ahmed Shah presented some sufi songs besides a Skit was performed by Shabir Hakak and Hilal Ahmad Khan.
The performance of all Artists were appreciated by the audience.
Earlier, another team of Artists performed street play and the famous Laddyshah at Karan Nagar near SMC, DC office and at Lalchowk. The artists raised awareness among the pedestrians of the importance of following Covid-19 related SOPs to prevent spread of virus.
