Ramban : Animal Husbandry Department, Ramban Tuesday flagged in a newly purchased Milk Van here in the office complex of Chief Animal Husbandry Officer and handed over the same to a budding Dairy Farmer.
According to the Chief Animal Husbandry Officer, Ramban, Dr. Bharat Bushan, the Milk Van has been provided to Mohammad Sadiq, a budding entrepreneur of Sujmatna under Integrated Dairy Development Scheme (IDDS).
He said that Sadiq has availed the benefit under the scheme earlier also and established one unit dairy farm of 5 Cows. Now, he has purchased the milk van, DG set under the same scheme by availing the benefit of Rs 2 lakh as subsidy for the milk van and Rs. Rs 0.92 Lakh for DG Set, respectively.
He informed that the Department will also provide him a milking machine under the same scheme with the benefit of Rs. 30000 subsidy .
Out of 05 cows in his dairy farm, four are in milking and 1 is pregnant. On an average his saving makes upto Rs. 40000 per month in spite of being a lean season, the CAHO informed .
On the occasion Sadiq expressed his gratitude to the Department of Animal husbandry Ramban for support and guidance.
