Srinagar | Feb, 6: The Chairman Employees Joint Consultative Committee Kashmir  Aijaz Ahmad Khan has expressed satisfaction on the work and integrity of the Employees of  Jammu Kashmir.
“The Umbrella Organization of all the working Associations of the different Departments said that the loyalty of the Employees towards the Government in every sector remains questioned”, said the EJCC Chairman. Khan also urged employees to resist with full forces all tactics of Corruption and blackmailing, adding therein that the entire leadership of EJCCK  staunchly opposes the means of harassment to employees in the affairs of the Government.
Urging all employees to show people friendly gestures in discharge of their duties Khan said “the prime role of the Employees should be serving the People and gaining their goodwill under the different courses of Government”, adding therein that ” Employees should fear the wrath of Almighty Allah and confine themselves to the service of People of Jammu and Kashmir, honestly and loyally, as they are being paid for the same”.
Khan has also expressed his anguish over the delayed response from the Government in acting upon the genuine demands of Employees of Jammu and Kashmir, saying that “at the time when Employees risked their lives and were on the front foot in serving the Government in nooks and corners of Jammu & Kahmr, it was also a prime responsibility of the Government to fulfill their prolonged genuine demands”.
Reiterating the demands of regularization of the Contractual workers, Fair Price Shop Dealers, Daily wagers, Rehbar e Khel and Hamaals , Khan said “anomalies and reorganization of the Different Departments was timely addressed which was again one among the grave concerns of the Employees”, adding that “Holding timely DPCs and releasing pay in time being  the only source of income is another issue faced by the Employees”
Stating that as long as these issues are pending, the Government is only creating a vacuum between Employees and themselves Khan appealed Government to fulfill the genuine demands of Employees raised from time to time so that the employees too show interest in boosting the transparency in the system and work for the betterment of the State.
The statement was endorsed by the full team of Employees Joint Consultative Committee Kashmir along with Chairman Aijaz Ahmad Khan, Shiekh Aijaz Makhdoomi, Ishtiyaq Beigh, Suhaib Munshi, Javid Akhoon, Farooq Bhat, Ab Qayoom Beigh, Rehmatullah Khan, Showket Nowsheri, Sher Ali, Inayat Wani, Kumayl Haider, Mohd Yaqoob, Feroz Najar and Mohd Iqbal Kanth.
