DDC Chairperson reviews progress on Area Dev Plan works in Block Udhampur

Udhampur : District Development Council Chairman, Lal Chand Saturday reviewed the progress of development projects being executed by different departments under Area Development Capex budget plan in the Udhampur Block.
The district heads briefed the chair about the current status of developmental activities undertaken by their respective departments.
The DDC Chairperson directed the line departments to work in coordination with the PRIs for a holistic development. He also stressed that the next year’s plan must focus on the priority sectors, asset and employment generation works. He asked them to speed up the pace of work to complete the same within the stipulated time frame. He emphasised to mobilize all available resources productively and effectively for achieving desired results.
During the meeting, various issues hampering the speed of work were also discussed with the concerned PRIs of Block Udhampur. The PRIs assured their full cooperation to the line departments for achieving the desired goal and timely completion of the projects.
The meeting was attended by BDC Chairman Udhmapur, Balwan Singh, DDC Councillor, Puran Chand, Assistant Commissioner Panchayat, Ranjit Singh Kotwal and other district officers besides PRIs of the Block were present on the occasion.
