- No new mucormycosis case reported in last 24 hours, tally stays at 51
- 8.51% bed occupancy across JK
Srinagar, Jammu: Jammu & Kashmir on Thursday reported 1982 new positive cases of novel Corona virus (COVID-19), 694 from Jammu division and 1288 from Kashmir division, thus taking the total number of positive cases in Jammu and Kashmir to 442462, said J&K Government on Thursday in it’s daily covid bulletin, stating therein further that seven Covid deaths including five from Jammu Division and two from Kashmir valley mounted J&K’s overall covid death toll to 4699.
Government in it’s covid bulletin also said that moreover, 5093 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and been discharged from various hospitals including 1554 from Jammu Division and 3539 from Kashmir Division, stating therein further that no new case of Mucormycosis has been reported Thursday, thus the total number of confirmed casesremains51 across J&K.
On COVID vaccination, the bulletin informs that 48836 doses of COVID vaccine have been administered in the last 24 hours bringing the cumulative number of doses administered across J&K to 2,06,29,082.
According to the daily Media Bulletin on novel Corona virus (Covid-19), out of 442462 positive cases, 26711are Active Positive (7682in Jammu Division and 19029in Kashmir Division), 411052 have recovered and 4699 have died; 2299 in Jammu division and 2400 in Kashmir division.
The Bulletin further said that out of 21639895 test results available, 442462 samples have tested positive and 21197433 samples have been tested as negative till date. Besides, 78,473 COVID tests have been conducted in last 24 hours.
Till date 5828729 persons have been enlisted for observation which included 29593 persons in home quarantine including facilities operated by government, 26712 in isolation and 431127 in home surveillance. Besides, 5336599 persons have completed their surveillance period.
Providing district-wise breakup for positive cases reported Thursday, the Bulletin said that Srinagar reported 413 cases, Baramulla reported 253 cases, Budgam reported 116 cases, Pulwama reported 44 cases, Kupwara reported 230 cases, Anantnag reported 71 cases, Bandipora reported 56 cases, Ganderbal reported 44 cases, Kulgam reported 47 cases while as Shopian reported 14 fresh cases for Thursday.
Similarly, Jammu reported 310cases, Reasi reported 18 cases for Thursday, Udhampur reported 74 cases, Rajouri reported 26 cases, Doda reported 76 cases, Kathua reported 62 cases, Samba reported 34 cases, Poonch reported 21case, Kishtwar reported 28 cases while as Ramban reported 45 fresh cases for Thursday.
Moreover, the bulletin also highlights that against the availability of 5038 dedicated level 1 & level 2 COVID beds, only 429(8.51%) are occupied.
The bulletin informs that in case of any help, the general public can call J&K Centralised Health Helpline- Toll Free No. 104.In case of emergency, people can avail free ambulance services 24×7 by calling toll free number 108 while as pregnant women and sick infants can avail free services by dialling toll free number 102, the bulletin reads.
It also informs that the public can reach national helpline by dialling 1075.
