ISM Dept holds awareness cum immunity booster distribution camp at Ramban

Ramban  : Department of Indian System of Medicine (ISM), AYUSH on Thursday organised an awareness cum immunity booster distribution camp here at District Administrative Complex.
Deputy Commissioner, Ramban, Mussarat Islam; BDC Chairperson, Khari Sajad Hussain; ADDC, Rajinder Sharma; ACD Zameer Rishu; CPO Dr. Kasturi Lal; DSWO Waheed-Ul-Rehman and several other senior officers and staff members participated in the camp.
While distrusting immunity booster kits among the district officers and staff members working in different offices, the DC advised them to take the same as per prescription of the doctors besides practicing yoga on daily basis.
The DC also appreciated the ISM Department Ramban for organising awareness cum immunity booster distribution camps across the district including in far-flung areas. He informed that more than 1 lakh units of AYUSH medicines have been distributed amongst people in the district.
He also highlighted the benefits of AYUSH medicines and said these help in strengthening the immune system. The DC exhorted the officers to spread the efficacy of Indian System of Medicines in these times of pandemic among all the staff working at vulnerable spots.
Earlier, Nodal Officer AYUSH, Dr. Masood Iqbal Zarger delivered a lecture on the importance of immunity boosting Ayurvedic and Unani drugs. He also sensitized the participants about the significance of following of Covid protocols in preventing spread of the infections.
