Hakeem condemns acid attack on Srinagar girl, demands job for the victim, Appreciates JK Police for arresting the accused within 24 hours

Srinagar  : Chairman Jammu and Kashmir People’s Democratic Front (J&KPDF) and former Minister Hakeem Mohammed Yaseen on Thursday condemned the attack on the Srinagar girl and demanded strict against the culprits involved in the gruesome crime.
In a statement, Hakeem said it is unfortunate that such incidents are taking place in our society. Our party stands with the family and stated that the accused should be given severe punishment so that there will be no such incidents in future.
“The incident has shocked the entire Valley. Police and other law enforcement agencies should ensure strict punishment against the accused. Such things are unacceptable in any religion across the world,” he said.
The senior leader urged the LG-led administration that victim should be provided free and full medical treatment. Words would fail to describe the situation that the victim must have suffered emotionally as well as physically, he said. Hakeem also demanded that government should provide a job to the victim so that she would not suffer in her future life. “Arresting the accused within 24 hours, Jammu and Kashmir Police has done a commendable job by tracing out. It is higly an appreciable job,” he said.
Ailing patient evacuated to hospital in G’bal : Police

G’bal | Feb, 3: Police on Thursday said that it has saved a precious life by shifting critically ill patient to PHC Lar.
In a statement issued on Thursday police said that Police Station Lar received a distress call from upper reaches of Lar Waliwar that a critically ill patient namely Shahnawaz Ahmad Khan resident of Waliwar needs immediate medical attention, as no vehicle was able to ply on the road due to slippery condition amid heavy snowfall in the area.
Police in it’s statement further said that it acted swiftly by rushing to the spot a police party led by SHO PS Lar ASI Gulzar Ahmad which shifted the patient to PHC Lar in official vehicle of Police Station for immediate treatment.
