- No new mucormycosis case reported in last 24 hours, tally stays at 51

Srinagar,Jammu: Jammu & Kashmir on Wednesday reported 2304 new positive cases of novel Corona virus (COVID-19), 996 from Jammu division and 1308 from Kashmir division, thus taking the total number of positive cases in Jammu and Kashmir to 440480, said J&K Government on Wednesday in it’s daily covid builletin, stating therein further that nine new covid deaths including 5 from Jammu Division and 4 from Kashmir Division mounted J&K’s overall covid death toll to 4694.
Government in it’s covid bulletin also said that moreover,5024more COVID-19 patients have recovered and been discharged from various hospitals including 1433from Jammu Division and3591 from Kashmir Division, stating therein further that no new case of Mucormycosis has been reported Wednesday, thus the total number of confirmed casesremains51 across J&K.
On COVID vaccination, the bulletin informs that 45345doses of COVID vaccine have been administered in the last 24 hours bringing the cumulative number of doses administered across J&K to20574791.
According to the daily Media Bulletin on novel Corona virus (Covid-19), out of 440480 positive cases, 29829are Active Positive (8547in Jammu Division and 21282in Kashmir Division), 405959 have recovered and 4692 have died; 2294 in Jammu division and 2398in Kashmir division.
The Bulletin further said that out of 21561422 test results available, 440480 samples have tested positive and 21120942 samples have been tested as negative till date. Besides, 78763 COVID tests have been conducted in last 24 hours.
Till date 5815539 persons have been enlisted for observation which included 29962persons in home quarantine including facilities operated by government, 29829 in isolation and 430407 in home surveillance. Besides, 5320649 persons have completed their surveillance period.
Providing district-wise breakup for positive cases reported Wednesday, the Bulletin said that Srinagar reported 439 cases, Baramulla reported 190 cases, Budgam reported 167 cases, Pulwama reported 41 cases, Kupwara reported 131cases, Anantnag reported 84cases, Bandipora reported 57 cases, Ganderbal reported 53 cases, Kulgam reported 112 cases while as Shopian reported 34 fresh cases for Wednesday.
Similarly, Jammu reported 443cases, Reasi reported 39 cases for Wednesday, Udhampur reported 120 cases, Rajouri reported 37cases, Doda reported 104 cases, Kathua reported 36 cases, Samba reported 56 cases, Poonch reported 15 cases, Kishtwar reported 54 cases while as Ramban reported 84 fresh cases for Wednesday.
Moreover, the bulletin also highlights that against the availability of 5038 dedicated level 1 & level 2 COVID beds, only 466(9.24%) are occupied.
The bulletin informs that in case of any help, the general public can call J&K Centralised Health Helpline- Toll Free No. 104.In case of emergency, people can avail free ambulance services 24×7 by calling toll free number 108 while as pregnant women and sick infants can avail free services by dialling toll free number 102, the bulletin reads.
It also informs that the public can reach national helpline by dialling 1075.
