DDC Chairperson conducts extensive tour of Panchayat Bali of Block Narsoo

Udhampur : District Development Council Chairperson, Udhampur Lal Chand today conducted an extensive tour of Panchayat Bali Block Narsoo and inspected various ongoing developmental works there.
Enroute, DDC Chairperson laid foundation stone of the Construction of 25 Mtrs. Span Steel Bridge over Nallah at Bali on Lehar Link road in presence of Chairman Block Development Council Narsoo, Sardara Begum, District Development Councilor, Narsoo Subash Chander Sarpanch Panchayat Halqa Bali, Ruksana Kousar besides other officers/ official of concerned departments . The said Bridge’s AAA cost is Rs. 125.00 lacs and Allotted cost is Rs. 82.22 lacs. The said Bridge Once completed will provide better commutation connectivity to around more than 500 households.
Later, the DDC Chairperson chaired a meeting of Block level officers here at Round-II Block Narsoo for identification and finalization of works for the next year under Area Development Plan 2022-23.
While addressing the BDCs/DDCs/ PRIs/Public of Block Narsoo and asked the Departments/PRIs to focus on preparing community specific Development Plan. He further stressed to focus on works in next year plan which are practically feasible and will benefit the public at large. He conveyed the public/ PRIs that the District Development Council Udhampur is fully Committed to work for the betterment of public of District Udhampur.
Among others, BDO Narsoo Muneer Hussain,BMO Cheneni, Officers/Officials of different Departments, Sarpanch Kither Soma Devi, Sarpanch Ladha Kuldeep Manhas, Sarpanch Upper Bali Mahesh Singh, Social Worker Sukhdev Sharma, Social Worker Jagdish Sharma, Ex Sarpanch Khem Raj, Panch Mohammad Farooq and others were also present.
