Covid-19 In JK: 15 new deaths reported in last 24 hours, toll rises to 4674

Srinagar, Jammu :The Government Tuesday informed that 2751 new positive cases of novel Corona virus(COVID-19),1105 from Jammu division and 1646 from Kashmir division, have been reported Tuesday, thus taking thetotal number of positive cases in Jammu and Kashmir to 438176.Also,09Coviddeaths have been reported;04from Jammu Division and 05 from Kashmir Division.
Moreover,6556 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and been discharged from various hospitals including 1691from Jammu Division and4865 from Kashmir Division.
The Bulletin also informs that no new case of Mucormycosis has been reported Tuesday, thus the total number of confirmed casesremains51 across J&K.
On COVID vaccination, the bulletin informs that 45,001doses of COVID vaccine have been administered in the last 24 hours bringing the cumulative number of doses administered across J&K to20521609.
According to the daily Media Bulletin on novel Corona virus(Covid-19),outof 438176 positive cases,32558are Active Positive(8989in Jammu Division and 23569in Kashmir Division),400935 have recovered and 4683 have died;2289 in Jammu division and 2394in Kashmir division.
The Bulletin further said that out of 21482659 test results available,438176 samples have tested positive and 21044483 samples have been tested as negative till date.Besides,72,559 COVID tests have been conducted in last 24 hours.
Till date 5803291 persons have been enlisted for observation which included29886persons in home quarantine including facilities operated bygovernment,32558 in isolation and 427530 in home surveillance.Besides,5308634 persons have completed their surveillance period.
Providing district-wise breakup for positive cases reported Tuesday, the Bulletin said that Srinagar reported 440 cases, Baramulla reported 136cases,Budgam reported 177 cases, Pulwama reported 45 cases, Kupwara reported 405 cases, Anantnag reported 108 cases,Bandipora reported 30cases,Ganderbal reported 59 cases,Kulgam reported 209cases while as Shopian reported 37 fresh cases for Tuesday.
Similarly, Jammu reported 561 cases,Reasi reported 32 cases for Tuesday, Udhampur reported 96 cases, Rajouri reported 21cases,Doda reported 74 cases,Kathua reported 44 cases, Samba reported 86 cases, Poonch reported31 cases, Kishtwar reported 11 cases while as Ramban reported 149 fresh cases for Tuesday.
Moreover, the bulletin also highlights that against the availability of5038 dedicated level 1&level 2 COVID beds, only 491(9.74%)are occupied.
The bulletin informs that in case of any help, the general public can call J&K Centralised Health Helpline-Toll Free No.104.In case of emergency, people can avail free ambulance services 24×7 by calling toll free number108 while as pregnant women and sick infants can avail free services by dialling toll free number 102,the bulletin reads.
