Srinagar | Feb, 1 : Chairman Employees Joint Consultative Committee (EJCC) and President CAPD ( Consumer Affairs & Public Distribution) Employees Association Kashmir Aijaz Ahmad Khan on Tuesday termed the demise of Editor-in-Chief of of Srinagar News Mehraj-ud-Din Wani a huge loss to Journalism.
Expressing his shock and grief over the demise of Mehraj Ud-Din Wani the EJCC Chairman Aijaz Ahmad Khan ,who is also the President of CAPD Employees Association Kashmir said that the deceased was an epitome of humility, perseverance and compassion, adding therein that “His demise has left a huge void in Kashmir’s Media Fraternity. His commitment to serve the people of especially the downtrodden sections of Jammu and Kashmir will be remembered for a long time ”. Expressing solidarity with the bereaved family, Aijaz Ahmad Khan prayed for the eternal peace to the departed soul and patience to his family to bear this severe loss. “On behalf of me and members of my employees Associations headed by me , I express my heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and stand with it especially Iqbal Saheb and his family at this time of grief and sorrow.” he said, while praying for everlasting peace and harmony to the departed soul.
