DDC Rajouri reviews performance of PMGSY Deptt

Rajouri :District Development Commissioner Rajouri, VikasKundal Monday took a comprehensive review of the performance of the PMGSY department, here at a meeting of the concerned officers held in his office chamber.
The meeting was attended by ADDC, Pawan Kumar; CPO, Mohammad Khurshid; ExEn PMGSY Rajouri, SubashChander and ExEn PMGSY Budhal, Abdul Gani and AEES concerned.
During the meeting, the DDC sought a detailed report from the concerned about the physical and financial progress on under execution projects in their respective subdivisions.
The meeting was informed that 150 schemes out of 195 have been completed in the Rajouri subdivision, while 98 schemes out of 124 stand completed in Budhal Subdivision and the rest are at different phases of execution.
The DDC directed the concerned authorities to resolve the pendency issues and remove bottlenecks, if any, on priority for smooth execution of roads.
He further instructed the officers to monitor the pace of work regularly and take care of existing public utilities. He said that these public projects cannot be delayed at any cost.
The DDC impressed upon the officers to work with zeal and dedication to achieve the set targets during the current financial year and also stressed on close monitoring of ongoing works to ensure quality and adherence to timelines.
