Ang :On the eve of 73rd Republic Day, Social Forestry Range Kokernag Thursday organised a special plantation drive under ‘HarGaonHaryali’.
As many as 275 plants were planted at 29 different locations covering 23 village Panchayats in the Social Forestry Range Kokernag.
BDC and DDC Members, besides Sarpanchs participated in the plantation drive along with the field staff of Social Forestry Range Kokernag.
On the occasion, Range Officer Forest Range Kokernag, Ishtiyaq Ahmad Makhdoomi thanked all the stakeholders for sparing their time in making the plantation drive a success. He added that such programmes will continue in future also.
