Executive Secy, Centre for Dialogue and Reconciliation meets Guv

Srinagar:  Sushobha Barve, Executive Secretary, Centre for Dialogue and Reconciliation (CDR), called on Governor N.N. Vohra, at the Raj Bhawan here Wednesday.

Barve briefed the Governor about the inter-community dialogues being conducted by the Centre in Leh, Jammu and Kashmir regions for building trust through continuing talks, dialogue and discussions. She also informed the Governor about their ‘Youth Leadership Program’ which was launched to engage youth, particularly of the conflict affected areas, and inculcate in them leadership qualities for overcoming the challenges to peace and stability.

Governor urged  Barve to sustain pursuits of all possible initiatives for counselling youth to dispel varied influences which thwart their ambitions and come forward to play a positive role in building the future of the state.
