1145 Educational institutions, 2319 RDD Institutions celebrate R-Day in Kashmir Divn

Srinagar As the Republic Day celebrations graced the entireday across the J&K, Several government departments and institutions
organised events for unfurling the National Flag with patriotism amid the
track of National Anthem and patriotic songs.
According to the statement issued here, the Republic Day was celebrated in
72 Degree Colleges, 358 Higher Secondary Schools, 715 High schools in
Kashmir Division besides 137 community blocks and 2182 panchayatHalqas of
Rural Development Department with fervor and enthusiasm.
During the R-Day functions National Flag was unfurled by institutional
heads and colorful cultural programmes and patriotic songs were sung by the
participants.As per the statement, 84990 participants took part in the functions, events and programs of Republic Day organised by Education and Rural Development Department in Kashmir Division.
