Anantnag : The District Magistrate (DM) Anantnag, Dr PiyushSingla Tuesday ordered the temporary closure of 25 Mtr Span Bailey bridge at Sakhras, Srigufwara for vehicular movement till further orders.
According to the order issued, the bridge connecting Fuhar and Sakhras in Tehsil Srigufwara is in urgent need of repair and in order to avoid any public mishap, the bridge shall remain closed for vehicular movement of any kind.
Meanwhile R&B has been directed to install temporary barricading at the bridge and SDM Pahalgam and SDPO Aishmuqam have been directed to implement the order in letter and spirit.
The general public is requested to cooperate with the administration and avoid using the bridge for vehicular movement.
