R-Day arrangements discussed at Ramnagar

Udhampur : To discuss the arrangements for the smooth celebration of Republic Day 2022 at Tehsil headquarter Ramnagar, Sub Divisional Magistrate, Gopal Singh chaired a meeting of officers of various departments here at Town Hall.
Threadbare discussions were held on various arrangements related to Seating, Barricading, Drinking water and Power supply, Sanitation, First- aid, Security, Transport and traffic regulations
It was decided in the meeting that the Republic Day function would be held at Government Model Higher Secondary School, Ramnagar where the chief guest would hoist the National flag at 9.55 Am.
The SDM urged upon the concerned officers concerned for ensuring better coordination and making effective arrangements pertaining to their departments. It was divulged in the meeting that the day would start with playing of ShehnaiVadan from 6.30 a.m. at stipulated places by the Tehsil Information Centre Ramnagar. In view of COVID-19 pandemic,the SDM added that the whole programmes will be conducted by following COVID 19 SOPs issued by the GOI from time to time.
Among others, TehsildarRamnagar, Sri NathSuman, Principal Higher Secondary School besides Tehsil heads of various departments were present in the meeting.
