1127 vaccinated, 3262 samples collected in Ramban

Ramban : As per District Immunization Officer, Ramban, Dr, Suresh the Health Department on Saturday administered Covid vaccine doses to 1127 people including 770 children in 15-17 years age group which includes 240 in Medical Block Banihal, 260 in Batote, 188 in Ukhral and 82 in Gool.
Meanwhile, continuing the enforcement drive to implement Covid protocol across the district Ramban, the Enforcement teams Saturday fined scores of violators for roaming without wearing face masks and not maintaining physical distance.
The enforcement teams, during the inspection in their respective jurisdictions, recovered a fine of Rs. 46,400 taking the total amount fined since April 1, 2021 to Rs. 81 06, 900. The Enforcement officers urged the people to wear face masks and maintain physical distance besides taking Covid vaccination doses at their nearest CVC.
As per daily bulletin issued by the Chief Medical Officer, Ramban, Dr. Mohammad FareedBhat, the Health Department has collected 3262 samples including 633 RT-PCR and 2629 RAT samples besides administering Covid vaccine to 1127 persons at various dedicated Vaccination Centres in the district.
