Rajouri-Thanamandi road open for traffic

Rajouri : The sub-divisional administration Thanamandi on Saturday clarified that the movement of vehicles on RajouriThanamandi road is going on smoothly with all bottlenecks being cleared.
In context to a news report published in a section of press, regarding prolong closure of RajouriThanamandi road, it was clarified that a landslide hit the road stretch near Begonara which has been cleared and traffic was restored only after shooting stones stopped.
Sub-Divisional administration Thannamandi on the directions of Deputy Commissioners Rajouri, VikasKundal has been keeping a close watch on the progress of widening of Thannamandi-DKG road so that there are no hurdles for the travellers on the road while ensuring that the construction of road takes place at full pace.
The Sub Divisional Magistrate Thannamandi has been constantly inspecting the road and the directions were passed regularly to the executing agency to ensure hassle-free travel.
Due to the continuous widening of the road, there is the issue of the creation of bottlenecks, however, the directions have been given to resolve issues within the shortest possible time.
Also, directions have been given to ensure the presence of personnel to regulate the traffic.
