Untiring efforts being made to restore power supply in Rajouri: PDD

Rajouri  :The recent incessant rains and snow have caused extensive damage to power infrastructure in Rajouri district and the Power Development Department is making untiring efforts to restore the supply to the affected areas.
The district witnessed massive damage to Power infrastructure including transformers across the district leading to piling up of damaged distribution Transformers at the District workshop.
On the directions of DDC, the workshop staff is working overnight to restore the damaged transformers.
To inspect the working of the Workshop, a team of the District Information Centre along with a group of media persons visited the PDD workshop and found the staff working in wee hours at 5:30 AM to rectify the faults of the Transformers.
The field staff is also working to the best of their potential to restore the power supply in all the areas of the district.
