Srinagar, Jammu : Jammu & Kashmir on Thursday reported 1966 new positive cases of novel Corona virus (COVID-19), 889 from Jammu division and 1077 from Kashmir division, taking the total number of positive cases in Jammu and Kashmir to 350167, J&K Government on Thursday said in it’s daily covid bulletin, stating therein further that five new Covid deaths, 2 from Jammu Division and 3 from Kashmir Division reported in last 24 hours mounted J&K’s overall covid death toll to 4548.
Government in it’s above referred bulletin furthermore said that moreover, 271more COVID-19 patients have recovered and been discharged from various hospitals including 153from Jammu Division and118 from Kashmir Division, stating therein further that the Bulletin informs that no new case of Mucormycosis reported Thursday.
On COVID vaccination, the bulletin informs that 61,967doses of COVID vaccine have been administered in the last 24 hours bringing the cumulative number of doses administered across J&K to1,96,55,682.
According to the daily Media Bulletin on novel Corona virus (Covid-19), out of 350167 positive cases, 7931are Active Positive (4082in Jammu Division and 3850 in Kashmir Division), 337683 have recovered and 4552 have died; 2213 in Jammu division and 2339in Kashmir division.
The Bulletin further said that out of 20079830 test results available, 350167 samples have tested positive and 19729663 samples have been tested as negative till date. Besides, 71,800 COVID tests have been conducted in last 24 hours.
Till date 5474555 persons have been enlisted for observation which included 7320persons in home quarantine including facilities operated by government, 7932 in isolation and 433935 in home surveillance. Besides, 5020816 persons have completed their surveillance period.
Providing district-wise breakup for positive cases reported Thursday, the Bulletin said that Srinagar reported 416 cases, Baramulla reported 311 cases, Budgam reported 159 cases, Pulwama reported 12 cases, Kupwarareported 26 cases, Anantnag reported 39 cases, Bandipora reported 53 cases, Ganderbal reported 07 cases, Kulgam reported 52 cases while as Shopian reported 02 fresh cases for Thursday.
Similarly, Jammu reported 435 cases, Reasi reported 107 cases for Thursday, Udhampur reported 136 cases, Rajouri reported 55cases, Doda reported 21 cases, Kathua reported 49 cases, Samba reported 36 cases, Poonch reported 26 case, Kishtwar reported 19 cases while as Ramban reported 06 fresh cases for Thursday.
Moreover, the bulletin also highlights that against the availability of 4794 dedicated level 1 & level 2 COVID beds, only 261 ( 5.4%) are occupied.
The bulletin further informs the general public that they can contact helpline numbers 0191-2520982/2674444/2674115/2674908/2549676 in Jammu Division and 0194-2440283/2430581/2452052/2457313/2457312 in Kashmir Division for any kind of guidance and assistance.
In case of emergency, people can avail free ambulance services 24×7 by calling toll free number 108 while as pregnant women and sick infants can avail free services by dialling toll free number 102, the bulletin reads.
It also informs that the public can reach national helpline by dialling 1075.
