“For better future of youth, we need additional jobs to keep pace with the projected annual increases in the working-age population. We need a workforce that is well educated, and appropriately skilled,” Prof. Sehgal said.

He said they will assure that quality of the teaching-learning process will not be compromised. NIT is among the oldest institutions in the country. We are in a position to offer the best quality engineering programs to our students, ” Prof. Sehgal said.
In his message, Registrar NIT, Prof. Kaiser Bukhari said Swami Vivekananda was the man of principles. In his short life span, he galvanized the youth of the country with a sense of self-respect and a sense of destiny, he said.
“Providing students with skillful education is the need of the hour. Youth can make a massive contribution to the upliftment and progress of a nation,” he said.
Prof. Bukhari also pointed out how the digital gaps and the absence of equitable education access have already deprived countless youth of even basic education.
