Srinagar | : Commissioner SMC MrAthar Amir Khan along with VC SDA Mr Bashir Ahmed Tuesday visited Parimpora Bus stand, Transport Nagar to inspect the adversity caused by recent snow and rain and orders immediately for the dewatering the area’s.
The Commissioner was accompanied by various Officers including Joint Commissioner Adm Syed AbulQasim, S.E Drainage, S.E R&B, Joint Commissioner Works, Executive Engineer City works XenWater Works , Xen Right River works, Xen Left River works, Chief Enforcement Officer, Chief Sanitation Officer, Ward officer and other officials.
Commissioner SMC on the occasion directed the S.E Drainage to depute mobile pumps for dewatering of the bus stand and Transport Nagar at Parimpora.
The officers of the SDA on the occasion informed that Parimpora Bus stand Project which is ofRs 9 Crores includes Drainage, Macdamization Road works, Central verge and Green Patches amid stands approved under SMRDA .
The technical vetting of the project along with the administrative approval is already in place. The project is under process for technical sanction and after the technical sanction is accorded, the works will be put to tenders promptly.
Similar it was informed that the project of Transport Nagar is also approved under SMRDA along with completion of technical vetting.
After the rest of the formalities will be done, the work will also be put to tenders immediately.
